How does the enrollment process work ?

To begin with, you can schedule a meet and greet with Dr.Samatha and if both of you think that this practice is good fit for your family, you can enroll your children. . Please note that all new patients are required to pay an initial registration fee and the first month's membership fee at the time of enrollment.

What if my child falls ill while we are out of town?

At Sunshine Pediatrics, we are fully prepared to offer long-distance and virtual care when needed. Even if you are away from home, we strive to provide the necessary support and medical guidance to ensure your child receives the care they require

Do you accept insurance?

We welcome patients both with and without insurance at Sunshine Pediatrics. However, please note that we operate as an out-of-network provider, and therefore, we do not directly bill insurance for the services we provide. If parents have medical insurance coverage for their children, we can certainly utilize it for services such as vaccines, lab and radiology tests, and specialist visits, which tend to be more expensive.

Do I still need medical insurance if I join Sunshine Pediatrics?

Yes, it is recommended that families maintain medical insurance coverage even if you join Sunshine Pediatrics. While our practice offers comprehensive primary care services, it is important to note that we are not a substitute for insurance. Medical insurance is essential to cover larger medical expenses that fall outside the scope of primary care, such as surgeries,hospitalizations, specialist visits, ER visits and other specialized treatments. It's important to note that your insurance plan will be billed for your child's routine vaccinations at Sunshine Pediatrics.

Is an appointment necessary?

Yes, at Sunshine Pediatrics, we operate on an appointment-only basis, no walk-ins. However, we are readily available for communication through texts, calls, or email to address any concerns or queries you may have.
